I'm curious about the security measures in place when accepting USDC directly to wallets. With decentralized systems, there's always a question of how to protect against potential vulnerabilities or fraud. What safeguards does CryptoNow have to ensure safe transactions?

Yeah, this was one of my main concerns early on.

CryptoNow is fully non-custodial. We never hold funds, don’t have access to user wallets, and can’t move merchant balances — payments go straight to the merchant’s Solana wallet.

On the payment flow itself we verify transactions server-side, simulate before sending, and confirm on-chain (recipient + amount) before marking a payment successful. We also have replay protection and signed API/webhook validation to prevent duplicates or spoofed calls.

To be transparent: with decentralized payments the merchant keeps full custody — and with that comes responsibility for business logic (fulfillment, disputes, etc.). CryptoNow’s job is to make the crypto payment rail itself reliable and verifiable.

We used other payment systems to accept payments on our website, and they were convenient. But to get started, I had to submit my project for review so they would allow me to accept payments through them. The funds were sent to the payment system’s wallet, meaning they controlled the money. Commissions were around 2%, and of course they required KYC.

That’s why we built CryptoNow — a payment infrastructure that allows you to accept USDC on Solana in 2 clicks: register, enter your Solana wallet on the website, and integrate the API or simply create a payment link.

No need to submit your project for approval or go through KYC. Payments go directly to your wallet, and we take a commission. Solana allows splitting a payment into 2 parts — your share and the commission taken by CryptoNow — so there is no need to top up an account to pay fees or use any separate payment method. The minimum fee is $0.01 for small payments, and for payments above $1 the fee never exceeds 1%.

You can integrate your website, vending machine, Telegram bot, or any other project, since the API is very simple and flexible.

CryptoNow is not suitable if you need fiat payments, refunds, or a service that does everything for you. However, if you want full control and are ready to take responsibility for your own funds, then CryptoNow can be a good choice.

For now, crypto payments are available only in USDC on Solana, but soon we will add USDC and USDT on other networks and continue expanding functionality. At the same time, integration will always stay simple, and the way you accept crypto will remain decentralized no matter what.
